Hi,i have a problem with iolo's system mechanic ultimate defense. The program opens normally and starts to scan the system,and after about 30 seconds it displays a message "internet connection required,connect to the internet and try again".It still works in the background but you cannot use it,if you press "ok" at the error message,the program closes.Everytime i try to open it,it does the same,it scans for about 30 seconds and then displays this error message. I have no problem with the internet connection,all the other programs in my system connect to the internet and function fine and i can browse with Opera browser normally without any problems.
I have tried scanning the system with sfc and repair the windows image with DISM multiple times and there are no corrupted windows files or registry entries.Īlso i have scanned the system with both Malwarebytes Premium and with Norton antivirus and there are no viruses or malware. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling system mechanic many times and everytime,when i reinstall it it doesn't let me activate it with the license key,it displays a window that "the activation service is temporarily down" and "error 4".įor some reason it cannot connect to the internet,although the Norton firewall is configured correctly to allow access to the program. The installation process is slow, wait for a few minutes.
Run the smdm.exe file to download System Mechanic 18 setup file (29.16 MB) and finish the installation process. I have tried everything i could think of,the system is clean from viruses or malware and i have all the windows updates installed. Next, click Get Serial Code to view the serial code or activation key, copy the code and hit Download button to download the iolo download manager 1.13 MB.
