I don't know anything about how that particular box is set up so I can't help with that unfortunately.Īn alternate solution is to install something like Media Monkey which will also allow you to share files via DLNA and specify what ever media is attached to the x96 box. You may have to log into the x96 boxe's DLNA server to see if that is possible.
Probably the easiest solution is to use DLNA and make sure that the x96 box is also exporting the file system on the HDD via DLNA. Can you configure the builtin FTP server in any way?
